Super Troopers

This week we got a new piece of homework and it is called super troopers. But really it is not like homework at all because it has such easy exercises such as together apart, get up and much much more. They also give recipes that your parents can let you do and last but not least every 2 weeks
there is a challenge you can try at home. For other tips, games and activities visit www.supertroopers.ie and become a super trooper today I would if I was you because the recipes are great.

The Musical

So far the musical is going good it’s called Sister Act. The people in my class doing the musical are; Maureen, Mary, Kaitlin, Erika and me Rachel. On Tuesday the 8th of November we had our first practice on stage it was so fun. I enjoy doing the musical. I hope more people do it next year.
Thanks for reading.

Under the Hawthorn Tree

We are reading a book called Under the hawthorn tree. It’s based on the famine time. Here’s a short synopsise of the story; there are three children called Eily, Michael and Peggy. Their dad went out working and their sister Bridget died. The mother went looking for the father, the children had to go to the workhouse. They ran away from the workhouse, Mary Kate found them and is looking after them now. We also did old fashioned letters about the novel, we got a piece of paper and cut it then we put tea bags on them to make them look old. They look great! Maybe you’ll see them.
              Bye for now,
