Ukulele Lessons

On the 28th of September we started ukulele lessons. Our ukulele teacher is very nice. Lots of people forgot the chords that we learned last year. We went back over the chords G, C, F. We also played the songs Little Liza Jane and Rocky Mountain.

Swimming and Studyladder

Our 2nd week of fifth class has been so fun.  We got to learn and do cool things. First of all we went SWIMMING! We are going to go swimming every Tuesday now, everyone was so happy and excited. Girls that could swim full or half lengths went to one group and girls that couldn’t do lengths went to another group. The second fun thing was that we went to computers to go on Studyladder. Studyladder is a really fun website where you play really fun multiplication, division, addition, subtraction and you can make your own avatar. I am sure everyone in my class knows that this week was the best week of fifth class, Catch up on our blog next week! Bye.

Our first week in 5th Class

So far our class have been doing some fun things during the first week of school. We did some PE games such as rounding and pole grab. We also played some games in class like match the picture in Irish and 2 chance saloon. We were also learning about idioms. An idiom is something that isn’t really what it sounds like. For example Zip it! That means to be quiet.
